Steering and suspension ball joints designed for your vehicle
Pailton Engineering have been designing and manufacturing high quality, bespoke steering systems and components for nearly half a century. Specialising in the commercial vehicle market, we work with some of the largest names in today’s market, helping them improve their products and helping them to keep pace with the latest developments in component design.
All of our components are made to meet our customers’ specifications. Our steering and suspension ball joints are available in a wide range of ball sizes from 18mm to 65mm. Although these will suit most applications with the European and North American commercial vehicle market, for those vehicles which require different sizes we are able to produce custom sizes.
Fully tested and reliable steering and suspension ball joints
Our highly skilled engineers have worked on every type of commercial vehicle. With this wealth of knowledge and experience, they know what works and what doesn’t for each and every type of vehicle, which is why they are able to provide great solutions to the specialist needs of the market.
With advanced, purpose-designed engineering and testing facilities, we are able to fully test our steering and suspension ball joints thoroughly before they are even fitted to our customers’ vehicles. Our test apparatus is able to simulate loads and cycles of steering systems for accelerated durability of components such as ball joints, check wear on moving parts whilst being sprayed with salt and grit solutions using various combinations of splines, torques and temperatures.
Improving vehicle performance with our steering and suspension ball joints
We are dedicated to helping our customers improve the performance of their vehicle in any way we can. Our research and development engineers are continuously working on improving the technical performance of all of our products, ensuring that they meet the rigorous requirements of today’s commercial vehicle market.
